OnlyFans agency for beginners: what to expect in your first 90 days
Updated · LuxOnly Creators
Short answer: yes, some agencies work with creators who are starting from zero. A good one explains its terms in writing before you start, sets up the account in your name, builds a content plan with you, and is upfront that the first months can be slow. You'll need to be 18 or older, able to verify your identity, and able to deliver content consistently.
Do agencies take beginners?
Some do. Others only work with creators who already have an audience.
Agencies that take beginners usually handle more of the work themselves, especially traffic, which is the hardest part when you're starting with no followers. Because they carry more of the effort and risk, their share tends to be higher, or they might offer a fixed salary instead of a percentage. Ask which one applies to you before the first call.
What you need before you start
- To be 18 or older, with an ID the platform can verify.
- A bank account in your name for payouts.
- Time to create content on a regular schedule. Agree on it up front.
- Clear limits. Know what you're comfortable with and what you're not, and make sure it's in writing.
- A way to keep things private, if that matters to you: a stage name and country blocking.
Days 1–7: contract, call, and setup
When you're new, it's hard to know what's normal. So here's what a good agency does.
It doesn't ask for money, photos, or your ID over chat. It answers your questions about the split, the account, and leaving, with actual numbers. It sends you the contract before a video call and gives you time to read it. Then it sets up your accounts in your name, and the platform verifies your age with your ID.
Weeks 2–4: persona and content plan
You'll work with your manager on a stage name, a backstory for your persona, and a content plan for the first few weeks. This is when you agree on how often you shoot. Expect a weekly check-in to go over what you delivered and plan the next week.
Months 2–3: learning what works
This is when the agency should be testing: which posts get attention, what fans respond to, and which traffic sources bring people in. Growth at this stage is often uneven.
If an agency promised you specific earnings for these months, that's a red flag. No one can know that in advance.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Are the account and the bank in my name?
- What percentage do you take, and is it on net or gross? Is there a fixed-salary option?
- What exactly do you do, and what do I do?
- Who talks to my fans, and can I read the conversations?
- How do I leave, and what happens to my account and content?
- Do I pay anything at any point?
Common beginner mistakes
- Signing the first offer without comparing.
- Accepting an account in someone else's name "to make it faster."
- Paying for "training" or "verification."
- Not putting your limits in writing.

Red flags aimed at beginners
Beginners get targeted more often because they don't know yet what's normal. Watch out for offers that promise to "make you go viral," packages you have to buy before you start, requests to use an account someone else already verified, or pressure to sign the same day.
A legit agency is happy to wait while you read the contract and ask questions.
How to prepare for your first call
Write your questions down before the call, especially about the split, the account, and how you'd leave. Decide ahead of time what content you are and aren't comfortable with, so you can say it clearly. Have a rough idea of how many hours a week you can give this.
And remember: you don't have to decide on the call. Ask for the contract and take your time. No pressure.
What a good agency won't do
- Ask you to pay for anything, at any point.
- Open your account under someone else's identity "to save time."
- Push you past the limits you put in writing.
Starting from zero with LuxOnly
You can apply even if you've never created content before. Here's how the first weeks go:
- Day 0: we message you on WhatsApp or Telegram within 24 hours.
- Days 1–3: we send you the contract, go through it together on a 15-minute video call, and you read it calmly with anyone you like.
- Before you start: we create and set up your accounts in your name. The platform verifies your age (18+) with your ID.
- Week 1: stage name, persona backstory, and a content plan for your first week.
- Every week: a meeting with your manager to review and plan.
You choose between 35–50% of net or a fixed salary of 800–2,000 USD a month. If you're starting from zero and want predictable income, the salary is often the better fit (see Fixed-salary agency).
Two honest notes: the first months can be slow, and LuxOnly always works with face. There's nothing to pay upfront, and you can leave with 45 days' notice and no penalty.
